Women of the White Mountains
First Annual Ladies Only Tournament
A full day of play for the ladies on October 16th 2021! Our primary focus at WMDGC is to grow the sport. Over the years we've received lots of feedback that women feel intimidated to play in tournaments, this unsanctioned event, made it easy for everyone to participate comfortably. For most women it was their first ever tournament and they all look forward to playing in many more.
This tournament will occur in 2022.
The People's Champ Returns
Gregg Barsby
Gregg always brings the most amazing energy to our community! On September 6th 2021the 2018 World Champion had a meet & greet and played mixed doubles. It was an amazing night by all and we can't thank him enough for coming!

The Althea Rose Bowl Triples Fundraiser

In year 2 of our annual fundraiser we were once again blown away by our disc golf community's generosity! Althea is the light of her family's eyes and everyone that meets her; she's a rockstar who has endured multiple surgeries since her birth and will have more in the future.We were beyond thrilled to present Althea and her family with a donation exceeding our projection by 30%! Glow Round at Snows Mountain in Waterville Valley
It was a glowing night for the books! The chair lift was turned on just for this event and we rode the lift under the stars and moon. Over 25 players of all ages got geared up with glow tape, glow discs, and flashlights for an unforgettable evening in the mountains. We can't thank Ian and his crew enough at Snows Mountain and we look forward to doing this event again in 2021.
The People's Champ, Gregg Barsby
WMDGC was honored to host the one and only 2018 World Disc Golf Champion, Gregg Barsby on September 9, 2019. The fun kicked off at 4:00 p.m. with a Meet & Greet, where you could pick up some custom swag and discs. It was followed by random doubles at 5:30 p.m. and one lucky local player was teamed up with the Champ himself! Next up was a complimentary BBQ for all, and of course, an evening of Glow Disc to close out one of our favorite events. We are so grateful to have hosted the very humble People's Champ and his wonderful girlfriend Casey; and look forward to their return!
We look forward to rescheduling a Barsby return along with welcoming 4x US Distance Champion and PDGA athlete Garrett Gurthie that was scheduled for this summer but was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Miracles for Michaela
Beautiful Michaela graced this world very early and needed lots of extra love and healthcare. Her loving parents didn't leave her side in the NICU which meant they needed a little extra help too. The day was filled with game play, silent auctions, generous donors, lots of food and Michaela's favorite band Beef Stu rounded out the incredible day with a jam session well into the night! We look forward to hosting many more events like this one when we can safely do so.
3/2021 Update: Michaela has her feeding tube out!!
