Our friends to the North, in Maine, launched Circle 1 Disc in 2020 and it has quickly grown in popularity landing team members like Corey Ellis (pictured left) and everyone's favorite local Junior player Uriyah Kelley to name a few.

Niel, PhD., P.E., Mechanical Engineer & Disc in the Dark Founder
Niel has a penchant for taking a problem and applying science to it. Whether it is a leaky faucet or safely navigating an astronaut on the International Space Station through an experiment involving radishes, Niel turns to solid science. His love for his wife and five children, however, is even more solid than his love of science.
Julie , Fine Artist & Disc in the Dark Founder
If Niel is the brains and the science, Julie is the charm and the moral 'o' meter. An oil painter by day, she brings her eye for design as well as her enthusiasm for life to the table.
Julie is the glue.

Wesley is known for his ability to work out complicated design problems and think outside the box. He sees potential where others see only problems. He patiently works through all the possibilities until he meets success.
